Sanremo is known as the City of Flowers, but also as the City of Music, in honour of the Italian Song Festival, which takes place in the legendary Ariston Theatre every year.


Our city also offers visitors the beauty of its historic centre, the scents of its botanical gardens and the magic of its famous bicycle path, which winds for more than 20 km along the coast and is easily accessible from our hotel.


Among the many entertainment spots of the town, there is also the famous Municipal Casino of Sanremo, located inside an Art Nouveau building of great value, designed by the French architect, Eugène Ferret and inaugurated in 1905.

Surroundings to discover

Interesting destinations are only a few kilometres away from the hotel, such as the city of Taggia (7 km), with its charming historic centre and the famous Taggiasca olives, and Ventimiglia (27 km), with its seafront and the famous street market held on Fridays, an excellent shopping experience for high quality artisan and gastronomic products.

HOW TO REACH US

  • By plane

    The nearest airport is Nice Côte d'Azur (NCE). From the airport, follow the signs for the A8 highway and take it in the direction Génes/Monaco/Nice-Nord/Grenoble/Digne. Once in Italy, continue on the A10/E80 and take the Arma di Taggia exit. From here follow the signs for the SS1bis junction for Sanremo/Mercato dei Fiori/Valle Armea, continue on SS1bis and take the Strada Armea exit. Turn left and take Via Armea (signs for Sanremo). At the roundabout, take the 1st exit and then SS 1, or Via Aurelia: you will find Hotel Ariston Montecarlo on your right.

  • By train

    Our hotel is 2.5 km from the Sanremo train station. From here you can reach the hotel by taxi or bus.

  • By car

    To reach us by car, you have to take the A7 highway (towards Genoa), continue on the A26/E25 towards Genoa/Ventimiglia, then take the A10/E80 towards Ventimiglia/Turin and take the Arma di Taggia exit.

    From here follow the signs for the SS1bis junction for Sanremo/Mercato dei Fiori/Valle Armea, continue on SS1bis and take the Strada Armea exit. Turn left and take Via Armea (signs for Sanremo). At the roundabout, take the 1st exit and then SS 1, or Via Aurelia: you will find Hotel Ariston Montecarlo on your right.
